FOUNDER | PRINCIPAL PLANNER

Born in a small town in North Dakota, Nichole was raised with a strong work ethic and developed unquestionable integrity and principled values. After receiving her bachelor's degree from Concordia College in Minnesota, she held several positions in catering and events before relocating to Hawaiʻi in 2001.

It was as catering director for a private club in downtown Honolulu, together with the fact that she is a romantic at heart, that inspired Nichole to enter the wedding industry in 2003. Her calm demeanor, aesthetic, ability to understand and execute her client’s vision, and excellent vendor relationships come together to create the perfect fusion of function and style. 

When Nichole isn’t planning weddings she can be found hanging out with her 18 year old son (yes, he still thinks she’s pretty cool!), walking her dog Gus, in her kitchen baking her families favorite goodies, or dreaming about her next trip to Italy.

EVENT PLANNER

Chelsea has been with Nichole Weddings & Events since 2016 and in that time has become an invaluable part of the team. She possesses the perfect combination of traits that make her a successful wedding planner. Her upbeat and friendly personality puts everyone at ease, while her desire for perfection and relentless organizational skills insure her clients their dream wedding will come off without a hitch! Chelsea’s creativity and fresh, modern sensibility are key attributes when helping her brides and grooms bring their vision to life.

Chelsea is a graduate of the University of Hawaiʻi with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the prestigious Shidler College of Business. She has lived on Oʻahu with her husband and three young boys for over 10 years, embracing the island’s culture, traditions, and beauty, which inspire her both personally and professionally. An ultimate sports mom, Chelsea enjoys organizing family trips, hosting get-togethers, and spending her weekends at sports games and cookouts.

PLANNER

Kayleigh joined Nichole Weddings & Events in 2019. She is a hopeless romantic, extremely detail oriented, and loves logistics. She was born and raised in Michigan and has worked in the hospitality industry for the past 18 years. Kayleigh realized she had a passion for planning events and social gatherings at a young age and received her bachelors degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management with an emphasis in Event Coordination from Grand Valley State University. She has been planning weddings in Hawaiʻi since 2014 on all of the major islands and believes planning weddings is truly her life's passion.

Kayleigh’s favorite things are being outside, flowers, traveling, a good drink, and delicious food.
